The Nebraska Humane Society saves, heals and creates second chances for homeless animals. In 2021, eight thousand two hundred and sixty-nine pets were adopted into their forever homes.
But you helped us do so much more!
Two thousand three hundred eighty four lost pets were reunited with their families.
Our medical team saved thousands of animals. With your compassion we completed:
15,237 diagnostic tests
5,268 spays and neuters
970 special surgeries
5,864 microchips
Two hundred sixteen foster homes cared for 1690 fragile animals.
Five hundred fifteen community members volunteered 49,940 hours!
NHS also provides a pet food pantry, low cost spay and neuter services, sanctuary for pets of domestic abuse victims.
