One of the best things about working for CAP is making a difference in the life of every animal we touch.
Citizens for Animal Protection (CAP) is a
Houston area non-profit organization founded in 1972 which shelters and places homeless pets for adoption with loving families.
CAP soeaks for those who cannot speak for themselves through vital programs and services such as shelter and foster care, pet adoption, lost & found notices, feral cat assistance program, humane education and outreach to adults and children, and our pet supply shop.
We are very proud of the Cornelius Clinic which we opened in 2018. This is where we provide surgery and medical treatment for our shelter animals and affordable spay and neuter services for the public.
If you are looking to adopt, CAP is the place to come. We have hundreds of animals just waiting for you to walk through those doors and make your home, theirs.
